The Communist Party of China(CPC) has been extremely good at renewing itself for each new phase, said British scholar and political commentator Martin Jacques.
Leading and governing a country of China's size with such a vast population of 1.4 billion across a huge physical landmass and ensuring a degree of order, stability and inclusivity is extraordinarily difficult, Jacques told Xinhua in a recent interview.
The scholar, also the author of the best-selling "When China Rules the World," has said that one of the most remarkable features of the CPC is the way in which it manages to "keep renewing itself, replenishing itself, moving forward and not getting behind."
