The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will be the first "zero carbon" Olympics in history. Renewable energy will power the six venues cutting carbon emissions by 320,000 tons and the use of coal by 128,000 tons. With low-carbon technology used in construction and renovation, the global event is expected to be the greenest and cleanest in Olympic history.
