Built in 1968, the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing has been in operation for 53 years and is the first artificial indoor ice rink in China. The stadium hosted volleyball competitions during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, it will host the short track speed skating and figure skating competitions.
